Recipe: Ginger-Soy Salmon

Ginger-Soy Salmon
Serves 4
  • 1/4 cup Tamari
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil (or canola oil)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1-1/4 pounds salmon
  1. Combine all ingredients in a glass dish to marinate for a minimum of two to three hours.
  2. Preheat grill or oven to 350 degrees (medium high). If grilling, prepare a sheet of ungreased foil by folding up the edges and place directly on grill.
  3. Grill: lay salmon on foil, skin side down. Spoon marinade over salmon; the folded edges should keep the marinade from running into the grill. Cook over indirect heat for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Fish is done when the thickest part flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and slide edge of spatula between fish skin and fish. Spoon extra marinade over fish and serve.
