Ginger-Soy Salmon
Serves 4
Serves 4
- 1/4 cup Tamari
- 1/4 cup sesame oil (or canola oil)
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1-1/4 pounds salmon
- Combine all ingredients in a glass dish to marinate for a minimum of two to three hours.
- Preheat grill or oven to 350 degrees (medium high). If grilling, prepare a sheet of ungreased foil by folding up the edges and place directly on grill.
- Grill: lay salmon on foil, skin side down. Spoon marinade over salmon; the folded edges should keep the marinade from running into the grill. Cook over indirect heat for 15-20 minutes.
- Fish is done when the thickest part flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and slide edge of spatula between fish skin and fish. Spoon extra marinade over fish and serve.
